KING

Yukon Kings are known as the "king of kings" because of the high oil content and unrivaled flavor. With oil contents as high as 34%, there is simply no comparison with any other king salmon in the world. Because of the committment to sustainablity, this run is a limited fishery that takes place during June.

KETA

The Yukon River has a little known run of Keta Salmon that is famous for its high oil content. These fish run from June through August and early September. Chefs prize them for their exceptional quality of meat, high oil content and unsurpassed flavor. The Yukon Keta have an extraordinary oil content and THE HIGHEST Omega-3 of any Alaskan salmon. Be sure to try them and taste the Yukon difference.

COHO

In addition to the King and Keta, the Yukon River also has a limited run of Coho Salmon that is over 2 times higher in oil content than the same specie fish from other areas of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. These fish run mid to late August. Their exceptional quality of meat, high oil content and succulent, rich flavor make these a great treat for any salmon lover!

SMOKED

Smoking methods are much the same as those traditionally used the Yup'ik people of the Yukon but done by approved commercial smoking facilities. Both hot and cold smoked salmon is available.

PACK

All products are available both fresh during the season and frozen year round. Fish can be ordered both in H&G and fillet form.

OUR SOURCE
Our fish is produced by Kwik'pak Fisheries, a major buyer and processor of Yukon Salmon from the remote Lower Yukon area in Western Alaska.
The company was formed in 2002 by six native Alaskan villages which make up the non-profit, Yukon Delta Fisheries Development Association CDQ group - one of six in Western Alaska. Kwik'pak is a fully-owned subsidiary of Yukon Delta Fisheries Development Association. Today, Kwik'pak Fisheries serves as a guaranteed salmon buyer and processor for hundreds of delta area fishermen.

Kwik'pak's focus is based on involving both the local fishermen and village residents to create a region-wide, long-term, self-sustaining salmon operation. In fact, Kwik'pak has been accepted as a member of the Fair Trade Federation, the only seafood company in the US and perhaps the world to achieve this. To that end, with a state of the art plant on the Yukon River in Emmonak, a native village of about 800 residents, Kwik'pak has created or provides:

This is all part of Kwik'pak's commitment to improve the quality of life for the people of the Yukon River Delta both today and in the future.
